How’s everyone’s Lima beans done this year?
Turns out Lima beans don’t like the frozen north. Less than 1ft tall and still not flowered. I’m going to take a stab in the dark here and say, I’m probably not going to get a crop off them .
To be fair to the Lima’s none of my beans outside have done very well this year. But I will harvest something from all the other varieties.

My beans have been non-existent this year, although I do have a pot of Hunters in the GH that look promising.
Lemurs will have to wait for next year.

Shamefully I didn't even sow any this year!! There was no point - I needed the small greenhouse for all my tomatoes, which to be fair, I prefer over lima beans.
However, I've got two new types of surprise seeds to share with the group (if I can manage to germinate at least one or two myself).

Do lemurs need to be grown under cover? If so it's unlikely I'll have room.

I am particularly pleased because I've researched one of the surprise seeds today and found that despite their tropical look, they're hardy in all of the UK (H6).

Yes, lemurs want to be grown in a warm place, so under cover is almost certainly needed in the UK

Well in that case I’ll be trying them again inside next year. .
