Our friend Sam

Sam is a made man! Today he is running every peak on Mull that is over 2000ft high! You see , I told you he was mad     . He set off on him massive jury at 5.45 this morning. 
He’s doing it because he wants to ( mad    ) and to raise money for the Mull and Iona rangers service.

We will be greeting him at the finish line where the fund raising will continue with a BBQ.

I've often thought that people who take on these challenges are completely mad - and you Sam seems to be the perfect example!
Tried to follow him but the tracker is down. Never mind, the fundraising is going well.

The tracker does seem to be having a meltdown. It’s probably not used to having so many people looking at the same time.

Well he did it. At 8.30 last night he finished his monumental run.
This is the moment he finished and was greeted by his partner Amy.

   

Well done Sam Bet he needed a few burgers at the BBQ after that. .

Just found out a bit more of what he actually achieved.
14 hrs and 55 minutes, 12 tops over 2000 ft and 35 miles.
A complete mad man, but ever so slightly amazing.

Good grief, they breed them hardy (and mad) on Mull. What a star.
