30 today so pretty normal and we did have 0.89mm of rain overnight, or one and a bit watering cans!

It's still felt very hot here today, though I may not be the best judge as I have COVID again. Had two blisteringly hot days in work on Monday and Tuesday (no air conditioning, no fans, and lots of frail elderly people with dementia who were too het up by the heat to drink lots of fluids or sit quietly and be sponged down). Then had a positive lateral flow when I got home late Tuesday evening (having tested negative that morning).
I want feeling too bad yesterday, other than the heat but pretty rough today. I haven't watered my plants since Sunday evening as I got home so late on Monday and Tuesday and then I haven't been able to get off my settee at all today. Hopefully I'll get out there tomorrow, but I suspect my greenhouse tomatoes will be done for by now.

Poor Pros, not again. Here's hoping you get over this one more quickly.

Best wishes Pros, to you and your GH tomatoes. It's a great thing you and all front line workers do during the ongoing pandemic.

My greenhouse tomatoes are looking surprisingly good. My neighbours are away now, but I'm a bit suspicious they may have hopped the fence on Monday and given the tomatoes a bit of a top-up!

Sitting in the living room with a cup of tea watching the rain come down, the first rain of any consequence in July.

After the yellow warning of heavy rain and thunderstorms for us today....................I'm still waiting for a single spot of rain!
Better start that rain dance again.
