Bought 4 more blocks of Coir compost, making 5 in total, If each block makes 75 litres of compost, that's 375 litres for £15. (4p a litre)
Still on offer in Morrisons. Original price £8.50 each, Seasonal Reduction of £5.50 = £3. Don't be misled by the Special Offer of 2 packs for £12 - ask for the price to be checked. Big Grin

I've fallen off the wagon.
I went to Wilko and splurged on their half price seeds, plenty of flowers and some sweetcorn, delphiniums, sweet peas, Swan River daisy red salvia, penstemon, pretty fox gloves which will be a change from all the wild ones that pop up everywhere, thunbergia which is all I can remember er ATM, masses of seeds and £7.50 later....... I'm back on the 12 step.

Decided to buy some tomato rootstock seeds and extra grafting clips for next year from Mole seeds. Also, after Veggie pointing out how expensive Senshyu Yellow Onions were, I added some of those seeds to my order, a bit dearer than premierseeds but postage is free. They need sowing in late august and 5g is likely over 1000 seeds.

I've never grown or eaten chard. Sick  An allotment neighbour really loves it so I thought I might give it a try. I have bought Chard-Bright Lights and will sow it on Sunday. Cool
I must admit that one of the reasons I liked the look of it was that one red plant of hers had bolted and made the most architectural plant, well over  six foot high that wouldn't go amiss in a flower garden. I bought the seed from 'Seed Craft' Smile
