This I think is quite unusual. I’ve never seen one before. It’s a double cuckoo flower
I took photo of the leaves as well because I was very confused about this little fella.
If you think it’s something else. Please let me know.

There is a double form "flore pleno" apparently. Its lovely SC. Nice find.
(PS I had to ask the Duckduck to find it for me - not heard of it before).

I’ll keeping a eye on this little fella. Hopefully collect seeds from it. I think it’s close enough to the pond. So it won’t get mowed for silage. Fingers crossed.
