Having looked at the forecast and seeing no frost on the horizon, I was of a mind to leave tenders out last night, but then changed my mind and put them away, as one local weather girl said lowest 4 ish. Good thing too, outdoor sensor read 2 this morning (although that could be 2.9 as it doesn't round up it always rounds down). They would have probably survived OK as it was only for a short duration but they wouldn't have liked it. Dull and overcast on waking.

It's actually raining some decent rain for once rather than ineffectual drizzle. Downside is I've got to go out in it, I think I'm gonna get wet

Very hot and windy.
What a change from last week, hardly making 15 degrees and drizzle most days; now it's 32 and likely to get hotter on the weekend.
Having not planted stuff out because it was too cool overnight (5-6) to harden anything off, it is now too hot during the day - I've already lost beetroot, parsley and coriander to the heat
It's frightening how fast this heating up is happening.

We've been blessed by the mountain effect, but it certainly looks bad country wide

Lots of rain overnight and this morning. Topped up the waterbutts and ponds.
Sun returned this afternoon.

Same as Veggie - rain over night and this morning, but sunshine in the afternoon, then overcast and now it's sunny again. Not terribly warm though.

Scorching today - 32 - and despite watering morning and night and mulching, I'm losing a lot of what I plant out. Thunderstorms last night and tonight, flooding in Donestia but not a drop here. Due to be hotter by mid week
