I got an email yesterday from Pennard plants saying they got 9 star broccoli seeds in stock again, so I quickly logged in to buy some. Turns out they have a minimum spend so I found more to buy:
1 Broccoli - Perennial , Nine Star 'Perennial' Seed (RARE)
1 Catnip - Herb , Catswort - Herbaceous perennial
1 Strawberry whatever sort I can't remember as I didn't get an email from them confirming what I'd ordered lol
I'm so excited to try the nine star broccoli

I've got one with 3, very useful bit of kit, when I can find it.

I bought two green/yellow variegated hostas from Lidl for £3.99 each. Nice big plants so I'm very pleased with them, exactly what I wanted.

I have been tempted and weakened! Only went to post a letter but had to look at the corner shop's plants. Ended up with a bag of Stuttgarter onion sets and some Desiree and Sharpes Express seed potatoes. Had to buy the latter spuds for obvious reasons Obvious if you've ever written to me.!!
The shopkeeper had some "Erotic mushrooms" for sale. Needless to say, I laughed out loud. The local ladies buying their bunches of flowers all look at me as if I've lost the plot. Along comes Shopkeeper who knows why I'm laughing and we have a chat about how suitable they are for the locals.
