Mistaken identity or words

Does anybody remember the song The Israelites by Desmond Decker, I used think the words were ‘My ears are alight’ hahaha

That reminded me too. I always thought the first line of the Israelites was 'woke up in the morning, baked beans for breakfast '

There was a Glen Campbell song often on in a pubic house I used to frequent. I thought it was "I'm a 9 stone cowboy." actually was Rhinestone Cowboy

Reminds me of my most embarrassing moment at a teachers training college in Liverpool (didn't quite finish the course). Reading out an assignment in a group lecture, I mispronounced 'organism'.
