I have had a slow start today. Woke up before 7am, remembered I wasn't working and went back to sleep for a bit! Then I've lolled around in bed for another couple of hours before getting up. Now showered and lolling around again until I'm dry!

I have at least put some laundry on (by which I mean tipped the contents of my laundry bin into the bath to soak), but I have quite a lot to get done today if I could only get going!

Anyone else just have days where they desperately want to be lazy?

You're not being lazy, Pros, it's your body's way of telling you you need a rest. With the hours that you work, you deserve a week of doing nothing.

I walked down to Lidl to do some grocery shopping. May have picked up some bulbs and a plant while I was at it... Caught the bus back up the hill but it was really late and there were no seat so I was standing. Had a man gesticulating wildly at me and pointing at my belly. When I took my headphones out, he asked if I was pregnant. I have gained quite a bit of weight since I had COVID (so a bit sensitive), but I didn't think I looked pregnant. Not at all motivated for the rest of the day now.

I'm sure he was only trying to help. I'd have laughed and taken the seat anyway. Big Grin

Aww Pros, that wasn't very kind of him. I can relate, I've put weight on the last year too, and it's more annoying because I lost two stone during the first year of lockdowns!

Evening All. Hope you remembered to put your clocks on today.
So nice to have that extra hour of daylight in the evening - and the warm weather. If I could choose the weather for a year, it would be as it has been this week. Warm enough to be out and doing but not too hot that you're sweaty. Not wet or windy. Suits me fine.
If I was to be picky, I'd ask for some overnight rain, enough to water the plants but not soggy, perhaps a degree or two warmer and a couple of hours lighter in the evening. Maybe April will be perfect. Big Grin
What would you choose?

Much the same as you've detailed, especially the temperature and overnight rain, sounds just perfect. Would we get bored with it though?
