Seven Jobs for the week

How big a tunnel do you need?

Not super tall - maybe just 3ft at most, about 30ft long.
Or 2 15ft long ones. I've about 250 anemones to plant out - it's so easy buying the seeds, corms and bulbs - not so easy getting some space prepared for them.

I have almost cleared enough space at the back of the garden, it made me think what I could use it for. Well, it's perfect for a greenhouse, so I'm looking for another to add to my collection now! There is one already, about 4x4 ft I think, so that's not nearly big enough. There was a 6x8 footer on Facepalm but by the time I'd measured to check if it would fit (and it would have), it had gone. Exciting

Plant Dianthus from GH if weather OK (It wasn't)
Sow Kermit Aubergines
Take cuttings of Perennial kale
Plant 2nd Year Onions in a new patch. DONE
Set out a few "compost bins" around garden. DONE
Dig up more montbretia and Vinca. DONE
Take cuttings of mint and salvias for planting out later. DONE

Dust the spare room - no visitors since before Covid so it really needs it NOT DONE AGAIN

1. Sow flower seeds - Not done
2. Sow veggie seeds (not decided which yet) - Done for now, more to sow once the heat mat has vacancies in the boxes.
3. Pot up spider plant babies - Done
4. Pot up Tradescantia zebrina 'Burgandy' that the cats broke off the original plant that have rooted lovely in a cup of water - Done
5. Organise the shed - Done, as much as I can until the garage has room for the tools that don't belong in a gardening shed
6. Turn my big compost heap - Not done, and it's not really an emergency, but it would be nice to have the compost to set up new beds
7. Clean out the chickens and compost the poop - Done

My new list for the coming week:
1. Sow flower seeds
2. Turn my big compost heap
3. Shift all the concrete into a pile
4. Plant up the apple tree I just bought
5. Plant up the Victoria plum tree
6. Plant out the perennial kale
7. Go and dismantle the new (to me) 8x8 glass greenhouse

Maybe, but my jobs tend to be random rather than planned for the week. That's why housework never gets done
