The 2nd of the 3x1 metre beds now fully covered with manure, a bit chilly today!
Also brought back some compost to plant the bulbs that arrived yesterday, will do this tomorrow.
Took some more 9-star cuttings as only one of the original ones rooted.

Yesterday took down all the Xmas decorations and lights, today putting them away in boxes thereafter into the loft. It's sad to see all the prettys go, everything looks so drab. A bit cold in the loft today too. -5°C last night, I haven't ventured too far outside today.

I do love pretty lights, growlights would definitely cheer me up.

My little lights (like yours JJB) are on as we speak - in the bedroom over the tomatoes.

Lucky little toms. Here the space for growing is being cleared, albeit slowly. Sowing might be delayed slightly.

No, nothing stopping me, except perhaps sanity I often wonder how the staff in the all year round Christmas shops feel about decorating their own places.

Today I ran an extension lead into the greenhouse and moved my heated propagators in.
They are currently occupied by Chrysanthemums (to force some shoots for cutting) and some onions just poking through. The onions will have to come off there in a day or two to make room for more stuff. T

The sun was out and so was I!
Found the growlights and their foil lined box
Filled a few small pots with compost and brought them inside to warm up for sowing some early toms. Suffered caustic comments from P and ignored him
Tidied the ghs and started digging over the borders
Tidied up some strawberry pots and brought them into the gh now they've had a bit of frost.
