Along with everyone else P and I wish you all a wonderful Christmas, even V with her beans on toast . The new year is around the corner and I for one yearn for the longer days, brighter weather and the start of the growing season. Thank you all for the giggles and info, just keep it coming. We are few but very perfectly formed long may it continue. Love to you all from Salisbury.

Bah Humbug
Not really, you're such a lovely bunch that I can't be rude to you today...................tomorrow however.
Hope you have a jolly time with lots of festive sprouts on your plate. They'll help with your social distancing.

^^^After 40 odd years the after effects of sprouts becomes a source of pride and competition Veggie you can (and probably wiill) be rude to me any day of the year, its when you're polite I worry!

A Merry Christmas and all the best in the new year to everyone.
I listened to gardeners question time this morning for the first time in a long while. It came on while I was waking up.
They asked questions like
what do you call 2 rows of brassicas?
What game do the herbs play at Christmas?
why did the gardener go on strike?
And the commentator said he got a kangaroo flavoured beer for Christmas: he could really taste the hops.
Answers:
a dual cabbage way
pass the parsley
to get a better celery.
