Morning All!
I am in the market for a large unheated propagator, something about a metre long, that has a really well fitting lid, ideally fungus gnat proof!
I quite like the look of the Vitopod with an extra side extension – does anyone have one of these or any other recommendations?
My budge could stretch to £75-£100 for something that will really last for many seasons. I have a heat mat to go underneath so definitely don’t need anything heated.

I use plastic boxes storage boxes with lids - the underbed storage size is ideal but I use whatever I can scrounge. You can put ventilation holes in the lid or prop them up.
Mine are in the GH, lid off in the day, lid on at night to keep the mice away.

That's a great idea about the underbed ones! I have a few standard sized boxes I use but didn't think to go large. Doh And MrPP is great at making holes in things ..

Santa will be getting off lightly if you settle for an underbed storage box!!

Following the wise words above, I bit the bullet and spent a staggering 5.99€ on a plastic storage box the same size as my large heat mat, leaving a lot of cash left in the bank!
(And yes, this is in the new utility room, and no we haven't finished it yet!)

I like it, very practical. Now what are you going to spend the savings on?
