I am a big fan of everything MasterChef, especially MasterChef Australia. On the various series competitors cook on an Hibachi Grill, it burns very hot so cooks quick and fast but it cooks indoors with special white charcoal which smoke is non carcinogenic in actual fact it’s not supposed to give off very much smoke unless you burn something.
Great news my kids bought me one for my recent birthday but I have not been able to get this white charcoal anywhere locally, it’s referred to as Binchotan, I have found it on Amazon but mainly as charcoal for water filtration.
Just wondering if any of you foodies has any experience with cooking on one of these ?.

Coffee keeps me busy until it’s acceptable to drink whiskey.
