At least when you got back to where you started the final bit fit OK and there wasn't a 2" gap. That says something for yours and Bob's attention to detail and precise work. A pat on the back well deserved I think.

We’re attempting to get it to something like wind & water tight before the really unpleasant weather sets in. Then things will slow down considerably and we’ll just plod on with it at a slower pace. Mostly on inside stuff until the weather improves.
Realistically we’re probably looking at 2 maybe 3 years to completion.

Bob & his brother fit most of the joists today. Still a few small ones around the loft hatch to do. I spent the day tidying up around the place.
