Went to get a replacement tyre for my wheelbarrow, but they didn’t have one in stock so need to order it, will have it for me tomorrow.
Finished weeding in around my potatoes and raspberries, the annoying thing is all the raspberry runners growing everywhere.
I got to use my new trailer today. This will work with my quad as I have sold my tractor.
My new trailer it has a 500L capacity

It's my no.2 greenhouse's birthday, it got completed a year ago today. It's now full and I'm still battling greenfly.

Cut the front grass, it took for ages because I had left it grow for the bees and butterflies, I took 4 trailer loads of the grass to the bog.

Took some cuttings. Collected some viola seeds. Tied up tomatoes & cucumbers. Removed side shoots from both. Made a net door to stop blackbird going in the tunnel.

It was a day for cutting off unwanted stuff - starting with my hair! Haven't been to a hairdresser for about 18 months and my normally short hair was hanging around my shoulders and annoying me - so I cut it off with the kitchen scissors! Its just below ear lobe length now but I've no idea what the back looks like - probably best not to know!
Flushed with success I picked tomatoes and cut off the yellowing leaves, then did the same to the strawberries in the shopping trolley.
Then it rained, and it rained some more and the water butts that were very low are now replenished.
While it was raining, I cooked the cheap peaches for the freezer -saving the stones for planting.

Armpitted tomatoes and removed lower leaves (or was that yesterday?) Planted last cucumber, 4 cayenne and 3 calabrese. Did a bit of weeding as we had 8mm of rain last night (in 30 minutes) and the ground is soft.
Sprayed savon noir on brassicas against brassica bug - they're getting worse every year - and picked cabbage white caterpillars from the nursery plants.
