Plot 53

The biggest challenge yet!

   

After a bit of work and some cankered tree removal

   

   

Thats as far as I got before needing a minor opp on my back earlier this year, I have grand designs in my head though...

No doubt it’ll look as fantastic as the others when you’re aloud to play again.

I think I have finally decided to utilise plot 53. I am going to use it as a flower and fruit garden. The preparation will be a huge challenge but not as big as the planting. Why the planting, well I know nothing about looking after flowers or what grows best where.

I am also going to create a 4x4mtr lawn within it. I want to create something that all plot holders can enjoy.

Maybe sow some flower seed mixes like Bees and Butterflies for Pollinators. There are lots of flower seed mixes - for shade, for cutting, easy annuals for kids
Takes the stress out of what to grow where!!

A blank canvass now....just need some sun to dry everything before raking it up and burning.

   

Started to put black plastic on plot 53, pleased with the results so far but not the speed of progress. This time of year the other two are quite demanding.

I have put a border around it and given the bottom 10' to a neighbour for their two daughters to grow things.

   

Well done admin that’s very neighbourly of you, great to encourage young children to grow things.
