Maybe I will. I've grow some sunflowers for my nextdoor neighbour to grow up a newly installed panel fence. The ground is incredibly dry and I don't really have any faith they'll get watered regularly, but having said that it'll be a laugh. One of the two types is called Russian Giant.

If I sow some now (I think I have some dwarf sunflower seeds), when will they be flowering? I'm hoping to move in early to mid August and no way I can take a sunflower with me!

It’ll probably flower just as your about to move or just after.
Just looked back at my sunflowers photos from last year. Flowering was in full swing by 1st august.
So it’s not looking good for you and sowing them a little later. But if they’re mini ones they might grow faster.
Give it a go anyway  Smile .
