Gardening Guilty Secrets!

Today I strimmed and trimmed the grass paths in the veg garden. I have eleven rectangular beds surrounded by grass and eleven grass paths between them.
The rest of the garden is rampant and pretty weedy, as are some of the veg beds between use. But not the paths.
My guilty secret is loving having the paths dead straight, neat, and well clipped.

"My guilty secret is loving having the paths dead straight, neat, and well clipped." They could still be pretty weedy.

Straight clipped lines and edges aren't a guilty secret round here, they're a fact of life, but I don't do them. Big Grin
Guilt but not a secret that I don't spend more time on the flower side of things.
Gardening is an excuse not to do housework

I guess it is just that straight lines (the veg beds line up with the house, too) is at odds with my passion for letting nature do her thing and run riot Smile

But I love them!

I am guilty of storing things around the garden, OH is very tidy and it really annoys her when I leave a stack of pots or trays sitting after I put some plants in, just looking out the window onto the patio there's a hand shovel, a part tray of flowers, a bag of soil 4 large empty pots all in different areas and 20 pots of chrysants, but the empty pots and the chrysants will all get filled or movedSmile
