Scarlet I have a couple of questions?
I’ve just sown your lovely mix of CFBs.
I know one is Tresnejavec = best for shelling & Meuch = fresh or shelling
Do you have any idea what the black seeds might be?
The other seeds you narrowed down to cosse violette or Kew blue. How do I tell which one I’ve got when they start growing? Any difference in leaf, flower or pod colour?
Thank you

Not sure if this helps but...........I've just bought some Kew Blue CFBs from https://www.seedhub.wales/. They only have 2 sorts of seed for sale so far - so I bought one of each to support them.
Kew Blue beans are flattish, beige with no speckles. They have purple-pink flowers and purple-tinged foliage followed by flat purple pods. Seems to be a pattern there.

I know what the black ones are....I'm just thinking.
I did write it down, somewhere. Definitely grew Cherokee trail of tears so that would be the black one

I've sown 12 of Scarlet's CFB's in those vintage Jiffy pellets - 3 of each of 4 varieties, whatever they are.
