No excuses took my foot off the ball. Combination of covid/lockdown ending, son going back to London, I just didn't care for them enough and shriveled and dried out

I put mine into the greenhouse too early and they shrivelled a bit. Half of them have perked up now though even though I haven't had a chance to transplant them into individual pots/modules yet.

I keep making gardening mistakes each year, but very rarely learn from them Danny.

Its not a "mistake" - its a way of finding out what works and what doesn't. Next time you're celebrating the end of lockdown in the beer garden, take your seedlings with you!

Reminds me of a saying "He who makes no mistakes, makes nothing"
