This photo won photo of the year here in Ireland, the photographers spent 56 days photographing starlings they had seen numerous shapes and finally seen this one and entered it in the competition.
Just had to share it.
Coffee keeps me busy until it’s acceptable to drink whiskey.

That's fabulous Can!
The day we moved down here we saw our very first murmuration on the drive down and took it as a good sign. Never seen one since!

When I was a boy the starling must have been the most common bird around, then city councils started taking steps to remove them from the cities, Glasgow had a group who I think got the nickname of Camerons commandos who went round the city disrupting nest sites and killing the birds, the starling population dropped drastically then
