Okay thanks folks.
I was hoping they would be another of Veggie's wacky alliums that I could move, grow, and eventually eat
Can I move them now?

Its easy to tell the difference between alliums and snowdrops. If the leaf smells of onions................its not snowdrops.

Agreeing with Vinny. I have some snowdrops in the green on order, as the ones in our front garden have failed to flourish - unlike the blue Anemone blanda, they don't seem to like growing among the roots of the hawthorn.

Where are they growing? In your garden/plot/woodland/canalbank?
It really does help to identify plants.

My first thought was ramsons, but the leaves would smell garlicky. They're too long and narrow to be lily-of-the-valley. Hmm...

let's hope it wasn't the after effects of eating the plant.

Firstly apologies to Veggie and Eyren for deleting my previous post after you'd replied!
I decided I wanted to get a better picture and more evidence so I popped back today.
Anyway this time I picked and scrunched a few leaves and god the smell of garlic was unbelievable!
For anyone else interested I asked what the below were, these are the original pictures as the new ones failed, doh!
Conclusion is almost certainly ramsons but I will check weekly until they flower.
What hit me was something Mark said about invasive plants, I couldn't quite believe how many of these there are spread all about the woodlands. It's funny how sometimes you don't notice something until your looking for it!!
Regards..........Danny
