Still raining here - after the wettest winter for forty years last year, this one to date is wetter.

It’s been beautiful, sunny, but it’s been freezing cold for a few days. So cold, our water has frozen. Even with the tap running.  The lunatic collie thought playing in the burn was a good idea today. By time he’d run back across the field to the house all his fur had icicles hanging off him. It was bl@@dy dangerous when he shook himself   . Little ice daggers flying round the room.

Not quite a bad as this but getting there.

Cold , crisp, clear and bright only -2°C was expecting lower.

Hope everyone is staying warm up north (by which I mean north of la Loire) - I see it was -21 in Scotland last night. Brrr.
We have sun this morning, but the rain is back tonight.

The west of Scotland currently has a yellow warning out for wild fires. Because is so dry. I know of a couple at the moment. None on the island yet.

Freezing comes to mind! Still a brisk walk to the plots will warm me up

Freezing here too. Have to keep thawing the chooks' water - they're buckling their beaks on the ice.
