Another little tangent, if I may An old friend used to call me Honka because of the way I laughed. 50+ years later I met him again and he still called me Honka!!
For that reason I'd like to grow Honkas.

Here one from saved seed last year - though not all are that pretty.
It's very much pot luck I think.Though I did a bed of 27 - most were reasonable but some had a odd number of petals

Well, I finally made it to the PO! Sorry for the delay folks. I should have taken a photo before I posted it off - it was an art getting it into the envelope...No handmade envelopes made, sorry. I got fed up writing so my name isn't on many of the labels either.
Anyway , seed sowing will be started tomorrow-a few chillies and maybe some foxgloves soon and I'm still a little excited about the species pelargoniums that I will start as soon as I get the prop out ( will update my thread - it may be of interest to some! ) So excited to start seed sowing again.
Happy New Year to you all and fingers crossed for a good growing year!

Well done, Scarlet
Looking forward to that lot emptying out in the kitchen - then, it'll be coming back to you all in the New Year. There'll be plenty for you sow.

Seed swaps are the future, JJB.
There is an unspoken rule about joining a seedswap...................you have to grow everything that you receive, even if just one of each, and give feedback to the swappers on what you thought of it.
Hope you have plenty of room for 50 or so extra plants.

^^^ oooh errr Mrs. Have you just thought up this unwritten rule V just to panic me. Veg I could probably cope with flowers are a mystery and I haven't got space. I'll leave you to explain to P that he has to dig up more lawn . Joking apart, I would welcome some different flowers. I mostly rely on bedding to give me some colour.
