Just curious to know how people will be spending Christmas?
As much as we would love to see our Grandchildren we have decided to have a face time Christmas. Christmas dinner for us will be spent over the plots.
Listening on the radio today, you can only make one bubble, so different children/family on different days is not allowed. Think the whole thing is going to be a disaster

We will be spending Christmas with our neighbours. As all our families are so far away ( Northern Ireland, Stoke-on-Trent, Cornwall) getting to them every if we wanted to ( which I don’t  ) would be very difficult if not irresponsible.
The neighbours are then coming to use for new year .
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.

Hopefully in London with our 2 sons and my Mum. (5 of us 3 households, I think that's within the rules)
We intend to go on the 23rd and return on the 27th, regardless of the rules that will be enough 
Will be the first time I've seen my mum this year
It's also Mrs B's 60th on Christmas Day!!!

Not seeing anyone other than MrPP and probably a glass of fizz over the fence with our neighbour.
Drunken Skype calls will happen at some point.
I'm relieved that my mum will be able to spend some time with her bubble and his extended family, who are all pretty much as good as family anyway!
Mind you Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve are the only nights there isn't a 9pm curfew so we might go for a late night wobbly walk around the village

Same as every day now - nothing special.
Its normally a bit of a non-event so I won't notice the difference!
Looking forward to my usual special meal - beans on toast with fried egg.

We are having my daughter and son in law and our two grandsons, my son and daughter in law and granddaughter for Christmas dinner in our house. All within government guidelines.
Coffee keeps me busy until it’s acceptable to drink whiskey.

P and I are alone this Christmas, which is normal. He is a bit bah humbug but does enjoy the turkey and trimmings. Usually it's on Boxing Day the lad and DiL come over but the lad has suggested not. He works in an environment where he meets up with all sorts from all over and says he would be devastated if he introduced the virus to us. DiL thinks he's a bit OTT. It might be an excuse so he can veg out for yet another day rather than be sociable .
Whilst I like the fuss, I do get fed up with the turkey leftovers, and I'm not about to throw any away Perhaps we should get a dog.
Gardening is an excuse not to do housework
