I'm tempted by courgette Verde di Milano on that performance PP, might give it a try. Some serious record keeping there too, I gave up due to lack of enthusiasm very early on.

Here we go - one Verde was responsible for fifty percent of the harvest and that is the one still fruiting well (6 today). I dread to think what it has its feet in!

Cucumber - Burpless Tasty Green 6 , Piccolo di Parigi gherkin 9
Courgette – Verde di Mlano 4, Golden 2, Tromboncino 1
Interestingly one of the Verde produced really different fruit with a stripe. All from the same packet!
