Flowers beginning with C

Off you go, SC and Scarlet.
Lots of Cs to grow but I'll let you start.

Ok...Whats in the GH already
Cornflowers - pink and black
Clary sage - beautiful annual salvia with purple foliage.
Calendula - this usually self seeds in my garden but I often stick seeds in.
Campanula - biennial but ive sown some in August hoping to get some flower for next year.

Chrysanthemums
Clematis - I bought a few this year and I've taken loads of cuttings. Fingers crossed I have a little luck.

I’ll be growing these 2 C’s

cedronella - looks very unusual, most of the common names have balm in it somewhere.
Chilean glory vine - so hope I can grow this. It looks awesome.

I’d like to try Chrysanthemums, at some point. I’ve never grown them.

Cosmos. Sensation get massive and seem to take forever to put out flowers, but once they get going they're great. Going to try some dwarf varieties next year. Sulphureus varieties seem more popular with bees.

SC, Cedronella is a permanent feature here - I love the smell of the leaves. the flowers are nothing special but the scent is amazing. Self seeds too if you're lucky.

I'll be growing Calendula, Cosmos, Cornflowers and Cerinthe which fascinates me. Its one of those flowers that people don't recognise and have to ask about. Also self seeds sometimes.

Thanks veggie   any information about the things I list on here is very welcome    . 90% of it will be things I’ve never grown before. How big does Cedronella get? I don’t think I found that information yesterday. Then I spent so long googling different plant names to find out when to sow them. I don’t have a clue which is which. All I know is the pictures looked pretty and I’d give them a go     . The other thing, if any of the plant’s I list are not perennial, please tell me. That also got quite confusing during my googling session   .

It is a total thug in my garden self seeding absolutely everywhere, but the pollinators love it and it is easy to pull out when small. I love the blue leaves as much as the flowers.

Cosmos and Calendula are staples, too and I have some Coreopsis to have a go with for the first time.

caesalpina

This is what I’ve found.

The Caesalpinia gillesii, has many common names such as the Yellow Bird of Paradise , Desert Bird of Paradise and Crimson Threadflower. it is hard to find and is a marvelously exotic plant. The combination of golden yellow Snapdragon-esque flowers and decorative red tassels create an oriental feel. The green to crimson blending stems simply add to the showy look of this evergreen shrub. Ideal for a dry area in the garden

So challenge excepted ! Don’t know how it’s going to get on growing in a bog!
