Still heaps of snow lying around here which is sign that there is still more to come. Bitterly cold and I got strange looks this morning with my excercise shorts on.Little did they know I was still sweating from excercising!

Considerably better than yesterday. Still a stiff breeze and showers including hail. Very cold.

Around 1 plus degree, feels warm. Cloudy though, and feels quite dark.
How's things SC? I hope everyone's ok after the storm?

How's things SC? I hope everyone's ok after the storm? Most of the island lost power. We got ours back on after about 12 hours. We only have internet because bob rigged up a contraption to get a signal from the next island over. The village internet got taken out by a tree, so probably won’t be fixed for a while. No real damage thankfully. Just sales barrow got blown over ( now back on its feet and staked in place). A small repair needed to polytunnel. Neighbours are away. There little lean to greenhouse didn’t fair well. We went round and made it safe. For them. Luckily it’s polycarb not glass. We got off very lightly. Very grateful for that.

So pleased you seem to have managed well. It's always such a worry. Mother Nature is overwhelmingly strong.
