2024 - What I harvested today

Sungold tomatoes grown outside. I'm thinking of having them in a toasted panini with mozzarella, pesto and a drizzle of balsamic glaze for lunch.

Mmm, that sounds like the perfect summer lunch! Sungold tomatoes are so sweet and delicious, and they pair perfectly with mozzarella and pesto. The balsamic glaze will add just the right amount of tanginess. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it! Do you grow your Sungold tomatoes in a container or directly in the ground?

Directly in the ground. They have to put up with whatever the weather throws at them, although I do try to give them a good start with some blood, fish & bone and mycorrhizal fungi.

Micro greens

Broccoli heads and I'll be picking raspberries after tea.

Bored beans and elephant garlic.

MT & courgettes for dinner and I gave away a couple of courgettes and a cucumber.

Mixed lettuce, chives and raspberries.

So far today 3 Delistar cucumbers and 6 baby beetroot

I was surprised to spot some ripe blueberries today, so had those with strawberries.
Sungold tomatoes and the first Mango Lasso tomato with my panini.
Also had some mint in my Pimm's™ enjoying the tennis on telly.
