If you googled it as a welsh word you may come up with something else!!
It's a very common word in Wales and used often - I was was always know as a little dwt. short, small, dinky....
I'm 4ft 10 and a HALF on a good day
I also think 5ft 5 is giant!

Anything small and cute, like a puppy or baby is Dwti (dootee).

My mum was taller than me, dad and brother were 6'2"+, Paul is 6'3" and the lad is over 6'4" even more in his Rock Boots. He used to look down at the thinning hair on the top of my head and loudly ask if I was going bald! I blame his parents
