This evening I’ll be eating quinoa for the first time ever.

How?......not as in put it in your mouth and chew it  but as in what recipe/sauce.  I'm not fond of it bare but it's fine with flavouring or sauce.  It looks like little spirals when it's cooked.

Re Quinoa, I use it instead of rice - its quick to cook and not as stodgy.

My apologies - I'm such a stick in the mud I haven't done anything different since I started this!!
However, today I did a load of washing using an EcoEgg (FREE of course). I can't comment on how well it did as the washing is still damp so needs another day of dry weather. There is a faint scent to it. Nothing noticeable. To be fair, most of the dirty clothes weren't really "dirty", just been worn for normal activities.

As JJB quite rightly suggested. New this week. Dismantling of the generator shed. It’s not the first shed we’ve dismantled. It’s not even the first this year  Rolleyes . But it is the first for this shed. And this was the first structure built on our land. And it’s going to be the best garden shed ever  Big Grin . Layout is being thought through right now.

I've done 4 loads of washing this week, catching up while we had dry weather. The results seem to be the same as when using washing liquid, apart from the scent. I'll keep using them although I do have some liquid to use up - maybe for the dirty washes?

It seems to work well.

Had a look at that, never seen it before. I wonder if 8t will take off commercially,  I spend hours peeling off sellotape off cardboard before it goes on the compost.
