I have had some fuchsia in one of those double shelfed polycarbonate coldframe with double doors and hinged top, for the past three weeks doors and lid opened every day and closed at night, but though all are hardy fuchsias some are showing signs of cold damage, I have put 3 of them into home made flower pot holders and protected with fleece

Query SC, what does mantised mean? Oh, I just got it, am I thick or did anyone else wonder too? << I think I know the answer to that one before anyone else jumps in

Thanks SC. Never used one, but have admired them from afar. Always came to the conclusion I already have a husband that does the same job, reasonably happily.

Planted 12 more courgettes and 12 Sonesta DFBs to keep them company.
Because Friday is for Flowers I scattered flowers seeds around the courgette planters - tried to keep them in groups so that I could identify them later without resorting to labels!! Its jus t coincidence that they all begin with C.
1. Calendula "Fiest Gitana" & "Art Shades"
2. Chrysanthemum coronarium/Garland/Crown Daisy
3. Coreopsis "Mahogany Midget" & "Unbelievable"
4. Cornflower "Polka Dot" & "Jubilee Gem".
Since I had 2 more packets of Calendula seeds in my pocket I scattered them too.
