I've found asparagus that I like, so I've had that with my eggs in the morning for the last three days. The asparagus is locally grown in the village where I went to school as a kid, and she sells it so cheaply.
Lunch yesterday and today - pasta with a little salmon, sweetcorn, horseradish sauce and cream cheese.
Tea last night and tonight - lasagna that I cooked a couple of weeks ago and froze whole.

Shall we all go round to Sarriss' for tea? Her meals sound delish.

Aww thank you! You're welcome to come visit any time, but it'll be at least for both tea, breakfast and lunch lol

Roast chicken tonight, and I'm planning roast potatoes and lots of veg to go with it.
Breakfast was two homegrown eggs, tomatoes (from the shop, sadly) and pickled herring.
Lunch will be leftover salmon pasta.

For lunch today I have just had air fried Harrisa flavoured lamb meatbals (20 mins) with Katsu flavoured rice (69p) done for 2 mins in microwave. My newly aquired taste for a squirty Marinara sauce was added to moisten it. I was surprised that Kato liked some of the Harissa meatballs though.

Had a late afternoon visit to Morries about 3.30 - 4ish. Just in time to see the lovely lady marking down the odds and ends shelves. She said that anything on there without a price she would reduce - and did I like chocolate. Six boxes of Praline chocolates @ 30p each, Milk tray 38p, lots of bars of chocolate 12p each, chocolate mints 35p. She was marking them down to 10% of original price. Also bought tins of organic butterbeans and chilli beans @ 11p and some other bits & pieces. Next up was the reduced chilled food - quiche, salmon poke bowl, samosas, fish pie, ravioli and lots of blue cheese. It was a good afternoon. Must remember to go there at the same time next week. I've never seen them mark down tins of stuff at my local Morries? nor chocolate for that matter!
