I have another experiment that has been in the slow cooker overnight filling the house with a 'meaty' aroma.
I added a pound of mince and a pound of diced stewing steak and let it simmer in the slow cooker. I may add some spices and make part of it into a chilli, some as it is into a stew and the rest into a curry?
I won't be doing any of the above until this sfternoon after excercising and shopping. To sustain me until then I will have a 'Bulletproof coffee' for brekkie.

My 'Experiment' was tasty when cold, a bit like corned beef? I heated up 1/3rd of my 'stew' and had it for luncch. The other thing I had at tea time wa a mix of prawns, musssels and crab sticks with some red cabbage.I may have another third of my stew, cold, with pickles later.

Yesterday
B. Banana, yogurt & granola
L. YS Cheese & onion quiche 15p
D YS Salmon poke bowl (whatever a poke bowl is) 48p.
Had a late afternoon visit to Morries about 3.30 - 4ish. Just in time to see the lovely lady marking down the odds and ends shelves. She said that anything on there without a price she would reduce - and did I like chocolate. Six boxes of Praline chocolates @ 30p each, Milk tray 38p, lots of bars of chocolate 12p each, chocolate mints 35p. She was marking them down to 10% of original price. Also bought tins of organic butterbeans and chilli beans @ 11p and some other bits & pieces. Next up was the reduced chilled food - quiche, salmon poke bowl, samosas, fish pie, ravioli and lots of blue cheese. It was a good afternoon. Must remember to go there at the same time next week.
