I was in Poundstretcher this afternoon and they were filling up the shelves with gardening stuff. I couldn't resist it, I bought a rose "Queen Elizabeth" for £3.49. There's not a lot of root on her but I expect she will be fine eventually. She's a tough, vigourous one is our Queen. She's going in the front garden by the gate post, but I've put her in a pot for the time being.

My seed dealer has sent me some lovely kale seeds. 2 varieties I’ve never tried before. Very exciting. Thank you.

I've heard stories about that seed dealer, I fear there's a touch of madness, the dealer keeps giving seeds away.

Lettuce little gem
Tomato black truffle
Butternut squash Waltham
Swiss chard rainbow mix
And some flowers + climbers:
Tithonia red torch (Mexican sunflower)
Borage
Thunbergia alata mix
Ipomoea lobata (Spanish flag)
Ipomoea heavenly blue
