Happy Heather Hippo was born on the flower washed slopes of a Mull mountain. During her birth, the flowers became embedded in her skin, like a floral birthmark and her destiny was clear - she would forever brighten up everyone's days with her colourful coat and happy smile.

I've been eyeing a triceratops pattern like this. Beautiful work, SC.

Finished my very first blanket yesterday. I’m very pleased with it and happy I actually finished it. I’ve started a few blankets in the past. Ended up getting bored of the repetitive stitches . But this one held my interest with lots of different stitch types.

Oooh, that is spectacular. So intricate. Have you ever dabbled with weaving SC? My crafty Dutch friend loved it, even making enough material for a jacket. Unfortunately you need a fairly big loom.

Never played with a loom. Closest I’ve come is a beading loom. For making bracelets.
