It’s pizza night. Bob’s having his usual Nduja, Pepperoni and chilli oil. I’m having my own creation chicken, pineapple, jalapeno and hot honey.

Yesterday was shopping day. I had a 25% off voucher for a local cafe and had a mixed meat omellette with salad for lunch. For supper I had lambs liver, bacon & onion mix done in cast iron frying pan, but instead of frying I bunged it in oven for 35 minutes stirring a few times. I have never done it like this before but it saved me having to hover over the frying pan in case it stuck on? My preferred method in future as it was very tasty.
I bought loads of cheap Easter meat yesterday including two half prce lambs legs at Tesco (Morries were sold out!) and a half price beeef joint while I was there. I had already bought two beef joints at Morries and two ribeye steaks, plus of course the liver I had last night!
Today, because its Good Friday I will delve back into the freezer for some fish. I have line caught Sockeye salmon, frozen haddock without batter somewhere and battered Pollack to choose from?
This morning I have had a bulletproof coffee and shared a YS hot cross bun with Kato before heading off to allotment.

Totally leftovers tonight. Little bits of everything.
Sliced Italian fennel sausages topped with chicken tagine. Couscous, cheesy pasta, courgettes, broccoli & chard. Rhubarb, sponge and custard for himself for pudding.

Managed to find four pollock fillets nestled in the freezer. After cooking in oven for half an hour I may cover them with passata and bung them back in for another 5 minutes?
Just got back from fishing in storm Dave and couldn't understand why I was the ony one at the waters edge? Hoped to catch a Good Friday fish, but will have to make do with the frozen pollock!

My take on 'Boiled beef & carrots' worked out well! The 4p carrots were chopped and boiled. The salmon cut beef joint was added to the slow cooker with a cup full of red wine and a similar amount of passata that was left over from yesterdays cooking.
Very tasty for lunch and enough left over for ron.
