That's fantastic, JJB. Thank you. Can you remember when I saved your seeds? If I can find some of mine with the same date, I'll sow some too.

They're both your seeds swap seeds. I've never grown either of them before. You saved oregon spring in 2021 and mountain princess in 2022. Oregon was far more successful germination than MP.

Had two extra children at my house to play, which actually makes free time so I pricked out lots more flower seedlings outside. If everything continues to grow, I'm going to have a rather red and "black" garden this year as I have lots in that colour range. Bit of a departure but the kids chose their preferred colours so should be interesting.

Thanks JJB. I'll have a rummage in the seedbox. They've lasted well! You’ve got 3 Oregon spring plants heading your way. As soon as they’re big enough to travel. And hopefully seeds from the 1 I’m growing.
My Oregon spring seeds were also 2021 seed swap seeds.
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.

I could also try sending you mountain princess, again if they survive and get big enough. Do you think Frank would treat them well enough? IIRC I might even have a small box. Definitely something to try.

I've found some 2021 Oregon Spring and some Mountain Princess from an undated batch - that are fresher than the ones I sowed (which were either the original seeds (marked Free Gift!) or some saved in 2016!. Guess I was pushing my luck there!). I'll sow some more of each today.
