OMG we had a frost last night. Unheated gh down to 1.8°C. I've lost a few cucurbits in the unheated gh but beans in the ground seem to be OK. I covered both outside CFB and strawberries with fleece and hoped for the best. At least there's time to resow if necessary. I think it's due to go down low again tonight.

Still raining ... The springs that have been dry for at least 2 years have reappeared and the ditch/drain along one boundary is running again. But I think we're just lucky - a friend at the Med end of the Pyrenees is still on only about 10% of the average May rainfall for the area
But oh, boy is it cold. No frosts, but single digits at night and low teens in the day, a good 5 or 6 degrees below average. I've not planted out any of the tomato tribe yet and they're normally galloping up their strings by now! Everything has been stalled for a couple of weeks now. We've even run out of battery power - MrPP is not impressed with his investment

Still cold and wet! I gave up and lit the fire this evening as we rely on solar gain to heat the house (not to mention charge the batteries! ).

We lit the fire last night too.
It went quiet cold yesterday afternoon and drizzle and the midges have joined the weather party.
Today I’ve not yet ventured out, but it’s overcast and very still, so midge paradise.

Beautiful sunny morning here. I just checked our forecast and it's looking like no rain for the foreseeable future.

Sunny here too, a chilly night at between 4- 5° but all ok and warmer nights forecast. It promises to be a warm day with a bit of wind, not still and close like yesterday. No rain here either, but as they couldn't foresee 5 hours into the future yesterday I'm taking all forecasts with a pinch of salt.

Very sunny, weather seems either too hot or too cold to work for any length of time outside these days (or too wet). Met. gives possibility of grass frost here tonight so will cover courgettes and early potatoes just in case.

We've had a few hot days on the trot and I'm thankful for the shade of the trees. Wouldn't mind some rain either (Can't believe I said that!!)

Nice day today. I had to make up a walk in the shade for Kato in the afternoon to keep him in the shade as he wouldn't wait until the sun went down!

Shorts and tee-shirt weather here for the second day, but still around 7-8c over night.
