Exactly. 10 out of 10 for effort. He produced some lovely cucumbers last year. But his germination rate has been considerably better. So it’ll be very interesting to see what happens.

Maybe he has a pkt of seeds and thinks they should all be sown at one time in one space. Those 39 toms are going to require a lot of water eventually.

He sowed whole packets because he had really poor germination last year. This year however has been incredibly successful. I just didn’t think he’d keep all of them.

Before we move on to the cucumber numbers. To be revealed later this evening. Here’s the rest of my neighbours tomatoes.      . To be very fair to him. He took my advice and thinned this grow bag out. No, really, this is thinned out!
These are the plants he took out of that grow bag.      And these       And these

He'll probably have a wonderful crop and we'll all be wishing we'd done the same. His tomatoes look a lot healthier than a load of self seeded ones that have come up in a hanging basket. I haven't the heart to bin them after they've tried to hard.

Yeah I have visions of him have a fantastic crop of toms, and being quite jealous.
You just know if you tried it yourself it’d be an epic fail. I’m very interested to see what varieties he’s growing, especially the potato leaf one.

To the last part of the competition. And only Bren joined in. Sorry to say you didn’t win. He’s not been quite as excessive as 25 per pot. He has an 11 and 9
