Called at the Church and came home with oyster mushroom, wholemeal cobs and a pomegranate.

Went to the £5 x 2 Pantry today. For £10, I have a big bag of Nando's chicken wings, M&S Plaice fillets, pate, 2 tins of Spam, milk, frozen mash, lots of fresh fruit & veg, including 2 melons, pears, bananas, kiwifruit, peaches, passion fruit, tangerines, lemons & limes, sweetcorn, peppers, spring onions, lettuce, thyme, tarragon, butternut squash, (I refused apples and tomatoes), soft drinks, fruit juice, crisps, cakes, chocolate brownie bars, dry pasta, plus a big box of bread in various shapes and sizes. Lidl had baked too much so it was all up for grabs - including some mini-pizzas, baguettes, panini, rolls, loaves.
I think its time to have a No-spend holiday while I reduce the food in the freezer.

One of my regulars gave me two cakes - a lemon drizzle sponge and a jam & cream swiss roll. She has a health condition and won't risk eating out of date food - she knows I'll help her out. Big Grin

I'm sure you could make a nicer one - this one's from Aldi.

I'm prepared to sit on the ground if there's cake, you might consider bringing your own tea (I hear she drinks that herbal stuff).  Wink
Can you imagine the horror if it really happened!
