Didn’t get a lot done today. We did get our perforated pipe into the plastic wrapped gravel. With more gravel over the top.

That is now completely enclosed by plastic. I lied to you. It’s not a filter . It’s basically a water tank. To help reduce flooding down stream when it gets bit damp!

Is that called attenuation - or something? There's an open "attenuation" pond near here- intended to hold and store the water running off the hillside and release it slowly into the stream, reducing the risk of flooding.
