Out:
Brokali Apollo F1. Sets a tiny main head and the side shoots are really spindly, sparse and go to seed in a flash. Got much better side shoots in terms of quality and quantity off Marathon calabrese.
Shiraz Mangetout. Looks pretty and is productive, but not very tasty. Will be replaced with Oregon Sugar Pod.
Any curly kale. Little brassica moths and whitefly love hiding in the folds. They ignored the calabrese, Tuscan kale and kohl rabi in the same bed.
New Zealand spinach. Easy to grow and prolific, but has a weird texture when raw and no taste when cooked. Also makes my throat burn/itch.
