The build

The first of the big pointy living room windows has been replaced. Not quite gone to plan! One of the panes of glass is 20mm too big. So we have a nice piece of plywood in stead. Not ideal. Hopefully Bob will get it sorted when the company is back in the office Monday. Other window is being fitted tomorrow. The piece of plywood has already been cut for that one!

More stress. It's going to be stunning when it's all in properly.  To save me looking back, remind me why it had to be replaced?

We needed opening as a fire escape. As only one way in & out of the room. Last summer we also realised it gets bloody hot in there. As the shower wet wall we were storing in there had folded in the heat. So opening will be nice. I’m sure within a couple of weeks we won’t even notice the central bar down the window. A little obvious now with the boarded window.
