At the allotment did some hand weeding to clear an area of bindweed. Found lots of hollyhock seedlings which of course I brought home to pot up since they couldn't stay where they were. Husband built my two-year-old cold frame from one of the German supermarkets and planted the last of the potatoes. Amazingly he also found some bindweed to dig out. Hoed around most of the beds as it's finally dry enough on the surface. Very satisfying although I did decapitate a nasturtium seedling suey all my previous careful rescuing of hollyhocks. Did so much potting on of flower seedlings at home. My youngest brought home Livingstone daisy seeds for Mother's Day and she helped me sow them. We have an impossible number of seedlings now. Nevermind, I have high hopes of a floriferous year.
