Raw yolks are good for you but raw whites (apart from being didtasteful) are actually bad for you, but cooked, are pure protein.
I have a one egg-size irob skillet. a 2 egg size one and an omelette size one (and I have 2 of each - bought for almost nothing in a cheap shop back in the 70s). I've always been mean.
Lard I find gives the 'cleaner' taste! 
PS I had better make that 60 years as I didn't start cooking breakfasts until I was 12 years old, when I arrived back home starving after my morning paper round and then had a canny hike to school after lighting coal fire and eating brekkie!
