I agree about the cabbages - a green cabbage is a green cabbage and they all look the same when cooked. 
I'm adding beetroot too - except I prefer to cook with yellow ones these days because they don't bleed.

I've often wondered whether the packets of mixed colour  beets or radish or carrots  etc are really just the leftovers muddled up together and given a fancy name.

I'm going to call mine "Veggie's Random Mix".
