Horizontal sleet & hail pebbledashing my face on Kato's walk! 
You know when you eat a big chunk of icecream and it gives you a headache in your frontal lobe, well that's what it felt like battling against it. 
(Am I going soft in my auld age methinks) 
Every thing was soaked through, even my supposedly waterproof shoes,socks, strides,supposedly showerproof coat and underpants!
Kato looked at me and seemed to say "We must be mental dad, going for a walk in this, howay, lets turn back?"
