Its St Dwynwen's Day in Wales, our version of St Valentine's day - not that I'll be celebrating that either but I may eat some chocolate and imagine.
Our neighbours , Bill & Joyce, were Scots and every year we'd celebrate Burns night with them. He'd wear his kilt etc and she'd wear her matching tartan scarf thing. Bill would read Burns poetry and we were supposed to write a poem and read that to them!
Joyce was a veggie too, and she had a veggie haggis delivered from Scotland on the back of a motorbike - or so she said!
They moved back to Edinburgh a few years ago so no more Bunrs nights for me!
PS This was my poem what I writ

There's a beetle on the ceiling.
He's eating bread and jam.
I don't know why he does it,
I'd rather cheese and ham.

(Eat your heart out Rabbie!!)
The Moneyless Chicken says:-
Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without.
Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without.
